About Us
Two by Two Lagotto is a small scale “kennel” having met rigorous requirements as an AKC Bronze Breeder of Merit Lagotto Breeder, AKC Bred With Heart Breeder, and GoodDog.Com Excellent Rated Breeder. Located in North Georgia in a rural suburb, we are licensed (as should all kennels be in their jurisdiction,) Incorporated, and AKC Inspected. Our Articles of Incorporation and all inspections and licensing reports are available upon request.
We live with our family on our 10-acre ranch which is a working dairy farm and run our "kennel" from our home (meaning our dogs live with us underfoot and in the house and are part of our family). As a part of Breed Preservation, our litter plans are carefully thought out with the help of our veterinarians in order that we have the time to devote to each litter for training, raising, showing, and working our dogs.
As the leading Show Breeder of Companion Lagotto, we DO NOT sell over the internet. Our site is for educational purposes so each potential family can learn about the breed and our adoption process. ***We only place puppies in companion homes, competition homes, and game hunting/truffle hunting homes. We do not sell ‘breeder’ puppies.***
If you are interested in adopting one of our puppies, please contact us. We breed Champion Show Dogs for ourselves first and foremost, with each litter being responsibly well-bred so as to contribute to the betterment of the bred, our program, and each individual puppy we produce, placing puppies in companion, competition, or hunting/truffle homes AFTER we carefully select the puppy we will keep from each litter.
We pride ourselves on matching each family to each puppy to each companion home, to competition home, to each hunting, or truffle home through intentional breeding, temperament testing, and meticulous rearing of each puppy.
We typically have a six to twelve-month waitlist and work hard to match the right dog to each of our clients. Our process included our Questionnaire/Application, our phone interview, and exchange of references among other things.
Selecting to work with a Reputable Show Kennel ensures your puppy will come from very well bred, genetically sound and tested stock, and ensures the adequate rearing and socialization of each individual puppy.
As an approved home, selected to adopt one of our hand selected puppies for your family, you will have exclusive access to advanced board to train (puppy boot camp) options should you desire more training than our 10-12 week foundation provided to all puppies, plus our custom training guide and lifetime access to our Online Training Course as well as our Training Call, all developed to help each client be prepared for their new puppy.
